Achille Vann Ricca is a Brooklyn-based, Boston-born standup comedian, actor, and educator. He holds warmth, wonder, whimsy, collaboration, and equity dear in his artistic pursuits.

As a comic, Achille has performed all over NYC at Club Cumming/Thursday Night Live, T4T Comedy, Discount Philosophy, HeHe with GG, closed out Trans Art Jest (the comedy wing of the inaugural Trans Art Fest) and more. He has helped to raise 1k+ for Sudan through Queer Comedy for Gaza, co-hosts Death!toallofThem, a weekly open mic for women and queers, and has taken standup classes and workshops at Brooklyn Comedy Collective.

As an actor, Achille originated the role of Weeping Willow in KUDZU CALLING (Donnetta Lavinia-Grays) at Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and Emory in EGGS (Clay Baker-Lerner) at The TANK Pridefest. He's been a member of Clubbed Thumb's New Play Development Acting Cohort for two seasons, and has workshopped NOT NOT JANE, BUFFIE’S LAST WISH, IS CRY YOU CRY’N, LIARS with them. He has been seen regionally on the stages of the Laguna Playhouse, MileSquare Theater, Hangar Theatre, Civic Ensemble, and Kitchen Theatre. On film, he's lead Peter Berle's CUTTING FAT, a selection of Trinity Film Festival and FactoryFest. Achille is proud to be represented by John Essay of Essay Management.

He has instructed performing arts through New York Edge, Black Theatre United, the Hangar Theatre, Creative Arts at Park, and through private coaching practice. He holds a BFA in Acting with a Minor in Education from Ithaca College.
